This agenda is also available on our web site at, and on the Utah Public Meeting Notices website at www.utah.gov/pmn/index.html PUBLIC MEETING AND PUBLIC HEARING ETIQUETTE Please remember all public meetings and public hearings are now recorded. - All comments must be recognized by the Chairperson and addressed through the microphone. - When speaking to the Planning Commission/City Council, please stand, speak slowly and clearly into the microphone, and state your name and address for the recorded record. - Be respectful to others and refrain from disruptions during the meeting. Please refrain from conversation with others in the audience as the microphones are very sensitive and can pick up whispers in the back of the room. - Keep comments constructive and not disruptive. - Avoid verbal approval or dissatisfaction of the ongoing discussion (i.e., booing or applauding). - Exhibits (photos, petitions, etc.) given to the City become the property of the City. - Please silence all cellular phones, beepers, pagers, or other noise making devices. - Be considerate of others who wish to speak by limiting your comments to a reasonable length and avoiding repetition of what has already been said. Individuals may be limited to two minutes and group representatives may be limited to five minutes. - Refrain from congregating near the doors or in the lobby area outside the council room to talk as it can be very noisy and disruptive. If you must carry on conversation in this area, please be as quiet as possible. (The doors must remain open during a public meeting/hearing.) Public Hearing vs. Public Meeting If the meeting is a public hearing, the public may participate during that time and may present opinions and evidence for the issue for which the hearing is being held. In a public hearing there may be some restrictions on participation such as time limits. Anyone can observe a public meeting, but there is no right to speak or be heard there - the public participates in presenting opinions and evidence at the pleasure of the body conducting the meeting.

Minutes 5/12/2021 Breezy- action item to see if we can get a trail building/maintenance seminar here locally for people and teams to attend- how to build drains, etc. IMBA seminar he attended in the past Will - check with Adobe on the school mtb team service hours counting towards $1 per hour back into the city trail fund? Vista Ridge trail- invoice from Breezy for resmoothing this trail after the horse damage. Brandon Gerber did the fixing. it is considered a donation to the city and Brandon gets the tax benefit. we can then use those donated hours when we apply for grants this fall. Developers are being required to include new trails in their open space in new developments Horses need to stay off a new trail for at least a year, until the dirt settles. Post signs indicating this. trails closed to horses until mid-May. closed again starting in end of October. Will - ask Everett if we can put a horse trail in on forest service land. walkers and horses only. no bikes. Alpine City Newsletter and Alpine City Community Facebook Page- educate and communicate about how to preserve our trails, particularly from horse damage Signage. Two posts with a chain - so that we can close trails when they are too muddy to be ridden 501c3- we could take donations for specific trails - for a trail designated as horse/hike 'hoof and boot' only. recruit volunteers to design and build it. Get Courage Reins and Bridle Up Hope involved. Bridle Up Hope got a $300k grant for making a trail on their own property. Wednesday, June 2 - Lone Peak MTB Team - trail service day Skyridge mtb team- start making berms on the North Point Connector, Stoney Way and up Vista Ridge to where it connects to Three Falls. predict 100 kids and 20 adults. drainage and building up the sides. ride it in when they're done. Randy is the Skyridge contact person. Trent is handling when this service day will take place, ALL OF US- make a note of signs that are empty of labels. that need to be fixed. Kiosk signs will be made - four of them. with big maps of Lambert. Bonner will be redoing Ziggy with berms and fun stuff Reroute the very bottom of Rodeo Down so that it doesn't cross Rodeo Up. Uphill has to be on the west side and downhill has to be on the east side. needs a berm to make it smooth. Would Spencer Colemere want to help with this project? Don't forget that we were also talking about rerouting the access to the Rodeo trail from the Rodeo parking grounds to make the up line separate from the down line.
