- NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS The Syracuse Planning Commission will hold public hearings on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 during a regularly scheduled meeting beginning at 6 pm digitally via Zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82335657420 or by phone at 253-215-8782, Meeting ID: 823 3565 7420 to discuss the following matters: Major Conditional Use Permit for a home business using an accessory structure for food preparation at approximately 4618 W Blue Heron Circle General Plan Amendment from Commercial to High Density Residential of approximately 3.56 acres at 2376 W 1700 S Rezone from General Commercial (GC) to Mixed Use Development (MXD) of approximately 0.94 acres at approximately 1556 S 2000 W Written comments that a member of the public would like to be read during the meeting will be accepted electronically at planningdepartment@syracuseut.com or physically (and by mail) at 1979 W 1900 S, Syracuse, UT 84075. Comments must be received at least five hours before the meeting. Comments received by the deadline will be read for a maximum of three minutes each; any unread remainder in excess of three minutes will be included in the public record. All related documents are available for public review at the Community Development Department and are posted at least twenty-four hours before the meeting at https://www.syracuseut.gov/AgendaCenter/ in the Planning Commission Category. All interested parties are welcome to attend and provide comments.
