Notice of Vacancies and Solicitation for Declarations of Candidacy as Trustees on the Board of Trustees of the Mountain Green Sewer Improvement District Notice is hereby given that the term of two (2) Trustees of the Board of Trustees of the Mountain Green Sewer Improvement District (the 'District') will expire December 31, 2021. As a result, the District welcomes and invites all those that may be interested in serving on the Board of Trustees of the District (including those Trustees whose terms are expiring) to complete and deliver a Declaration of Candidacy for a position as Trustee on the Board of Trustees. Election of candidates for a position as Trustee of the Board of Trustees shall be held November 2, 2021. The term of each member of the Board of Trustees is four (4) years and the term of the successful candidate for the pending vacancies shall commence on January 1, 2022. Candidates for a position on the Board of Trustees must be citizens of the United States, registered voters and maintain a primary residence located within the boundaries of the Mountain Green Sewer Improvement District. Each board member will be expected to attend Monthly board and committee meetings, and will be expected to spend a minimum of 20 to 30 hours per month on board duties. Desired experience includes sewer operations and maintenance, sewer engineering, human resource and personnel management, budgeting and financial management and county planning. Interested parties may obtain and file a Declaration of Candidacy at the office of the District located at 5455 West Old Highway Road, Mountain Green, Utah (behind the Kent Smith Memorial Park) between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday. The earliest date for filing a Declaration of Candidacy is June 1, 2021; the last date for filing a Declaration of Candidacy is June 7, 2021. Interested parties may call (801) 920-1018 for details concerning these vacancies on the Board of Trustees and the duties and responsibilities of Trustees of the Board of Trustees. Interested parties who fail to file a Declaration of Candidacy within the time periods specified above, may complete and file a Declaration of Candidacy as a Write In candidate no later than August 30, 2021. A Declaration of Candidacy as a Write In candidate may be obtained from the office of the District at the times and location set forth above.
