COALVILLE CITY MUNICIPAL ELECTION Notice of Municipal Offices to be voted on in the Coalville City Municipal General Election on November 2, 2021: Mayor - 4-year term and Two (2) City Council Member - 4-year term each Candidate Filing period June 1, 2021 through June 7, 2021 Any person seeking to become a Candidate for Coalville City shall file a 'Declaration of Candidacy' or 'Nomination Petition' in person with the City Recorder. The forms will be available during normal business hours 8:00 A.M - 5:00 P.M. at the City Hall Office, 10 North Main, Coalville. Qualifications for a candidate are: (1) Be a United States Citizen, (2) Be a registered voter of the municipality, (3) Be a resident of the Municipality for 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the date of election, (4) In accordance with Utah Constitution Article IV, Section 6, any mentally incompetent person, any person convicted of a felony, or any person convicted of treason or a crime against the elective franchise may not hold office until the right to hold elective office has been restored.
