TOWN OF STOCKTON NOTICE OF ELECTION AND FILING PERIOD NOTICE is hereby given that the Town of Stockton will hold a municipal election to elect one (1) Mayor, two (2) Town Council positions, all four year terms. Given a sufficient number of candidates, a primary election -will be held on August 10, 2021 with the municipal general election being held on November 2, 2021. Qualifications for a candidate are: (1) Be a United States citizen at the time of filing; (2) Be a registered voter of the municipality; (3) Be a resident of the municipality or a resident of the recent annexed area for a period of 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the date of the election. Qualified candidates may file a Declaration of Candidacy form. The filing is to be done in person with the Town Clerk at the Town of Stockton, 18 N Johnson St., Stockton, Utah. The filing period is from June 1, 2021 to June 7, 2021 from 8:30AM to 5PM daily and not later than 5:00 p.m. on the last day of filing.
