Description/Agenda: NOTICE OF MUNICIPAL ELECTION Centerfield City is seeking qualified citizens to run for the following positions: Mayor (4 year term) and two (2) City Council Members (4 year term each) Candidate filing period begins Tuesday, June 1, 2021 and ends Monday, June 7, 2021. A Declaration of Candidacy Form or Nomination Petition must be filed in person with the City Recorder at 130 South Main, Centerfield, Utah between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Candidate filing deadline is Monday, June 7, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. (UCA 20A-9-203). QUALIFICATIONS FOR CANDIDACY ARE: (UCA 10-3-301; 20A-9-203) 1- Be a United States Citizen 2- Be a registered voter of Centerfield City 3- Be a resident of the municipality for a period of 12 consecutive months immediately before the date of election. 4- Not be convicted of a felony or treason unless the right to hold elective office has been restored.
