Description/Agenda: The City of West Bountiful will hold a Municipal General Election on November 2, 2021. Offices to be voted upon are two (2) City Council seats and (1) Mayoral seat (4-year term each). The candidate filing period will be 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Tuesday June 1st through Friday June 4th, and Monday, June 7th, 2021. Candidates must file a Declaration of Candidacy form in person with the City Recorder at 550 N 800 West, West Bountiful, Utah, and meet the following qualifications: 1. Be a United States citizen; 2. Be a registered voter of the City; 3. Have been a resident of West Bountiful for at least 365 consecutive days immediately preceding the date of the election; and 4. Not be a convicted felon, unless the right to hold elective office has been restored. Notice of Electronic or Telephone Participation: Candidates will file in person at city hall.
