- PUBLIC NOTICE NEPHI CITY ELECTIONS Nephi City will hold a general election on November 2, 2021, to allow qualified voters of the community to elect a mayor and (2) two city council members, all four-year terms. Nephi City, by ordinance, provides for a non-partisan election with a primary election if needed on August 10, 2021. Candidates must file in person with the city recorder between Tuesday, June 1 through Monday, June 7, 2021, located at 21 East 100 North during normal business hours. Per state law, the 2021 election will be a vote by mail election. Write-Ins are not allowed for a primary election if one is required. The qualifications for a candidate are: (1) be a United States Citizen; (2) be at least 18 years old; (3) be a resident of Nephi City for at least 1 year before the election date; (4) be a registered voter of the city.
