TOWN of PORTAGE Wednesday April 7, 2021 Planning and Zoning Agenda Notice is hereby given that the Planning and Zoning Commission of Portage will hold its' regular Planning and Zoning meeting on Wednesday April 7, 2021 at the Portage Town Hall located at 25880 N 9000 W Portage, Utah. The Agenda shall be as follows: 7:00 PM Call to Order Opening Ceremony Prayer: Pledge of Allegiance: 1.Approve March 3, 2021 Planning and Zoning minutes. 2.Martin James from the UDAF will be at the meeting to give information, answer questions, and address any concerns about having apiaries in the Town of Portage. This information will be added to 107.2 apiary as deemed necessary. 3.Discuss and vote on Knudsen Estates Subdivision Preliminary Plat 4.Martin James from the UDAF will be at the meeting to give information, answer questions, and address any concerns about having apiaries in the Town of Portage. This information will be added to 107.2 apiary as deemed necessary. The proposed possible changes will not be official until a properly advertised public hearing is held, where the final votes will be cast. 5.Proposed possible addition, changes and vote 107.2 3. Apiary. 6.Proposed possible addition, changes and vote 107.2 C. Aviary look into Utah Code R657-4 need a license. Set regulation, size number of birds and etc. 7.Proposed possible addition, changes and vote 102.2 Terms. 8.Proposed possible addition, changes and vote 107.2 definitions 1. second paragraph. 9.Proposed possible addition, changes and vote 107.2 2 Fowl Unit C. Aviary need to add requires license, check number of birds and etc. 10.Proposed possible addition, changes and vote 107.2 3. Apiary; add license and etc. 11.Proposed possible addition, changes and vote 107.5 chart rear lot line and distance from dwelling unit. 12.Proposed Possible Section 107.9: Add entire new section titled: 107.9 KENNEL REGULATIONS 13.Proposed Possible additions, changes, and vote: 102.2 Terms apiary, aviary, and kennel. 14.Proposed Possible additions, changes, and vote: Section 115 changes, charts, setbacks, and verbiage that involves section 107.0. The above proposed changes will not be official until a properly advertised public hearing is held, where the final votes will be cast. A.Including all sections that may need changed to reflect changes in the above section so all information matches. 15.Go over and vote on building permit procedure as per conversation with Cody from Box Elder County. 16.Standing agenda items: Discuss and approve proposed changes to all sections of Town of Portage ordinances: Table of Content and Sections: 101 - 118.
