Workshop Presentation Topics: Introduced by Chad Wright Recreation Director 6:30-7pm
- Report on Recreation programs and events including plans for Spring/Summer (Chad Wright)
- Update on Parks and Trails current projects: (Chad Wright or Rodney Elwood)
1. Call to Order and Roll Call (President or Acting President)
2. Approval of Minutes and Agenda (President or Acting President)
3. Public Comment Period1 (President or Acting President)
4. Review of Action Items from previous meeting (Stacy Wright)
5. Report on the status of the petitioned annexation of property North of Clear Creek Park and the associated impact on Nibley city parks and recreation, trails, education, housing density, and public utilities including associated costs and revenue scenarios. (Chad Wright)
6. Report on additional discussions with Hyrum City officials regarding Parks and Recreation cooperation including indoor recreation space. (Chad Wright and President or Acting President)
7. Discussion and Consideration of immediate 180K available for a park project/amenity in Nibley and naming Heritage Park Baseball Field
8. Workshop discussion regarding funding options for park development including but not limited to municipal bonds, long-term field rental agreements, special service districts. (Chad and President or Acting President)
9. Discussion and Consideration of project status and long-term recommendations for City Council, Planning & Zoning regarding park feature recommendations. For existing and or upcoming park/trail projects, including Monte Vista 2-acre Park, Ridgeline Park, and finalizing a general list of recommended park amenities for park/open space property offered to Nibley city by developers. 10. Committee member reports of community/public official interaction regarding Parks and Recreation and or other reports. (President or Acting President)
11. Discussion and Consideration of action Items, assignments moving forward (President or Acting President)
12. Next meeting will be April 28, 2021.

1 Public input is welcomed at all Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee Meetings. 15 minutes have been allotted to receive verbal public comment. Verbal comments shall be limited to 3 minutes per person. A sign-up sheet is available at the entrance of the meeting or shall be available through chat (only during the public comment period) starting 15 minutes prior to each committee meeting and at the facilitators table for the duration of the public comment period. Commenters shall identify themselves by name and address on the comment form and or verbally for inclusion in the record. Comment will be taken in the order shown on the sign-up sheet or chat cue. Written comment will also be accepted and entered into the record for the meeting if received prior to the conclusion of the meeting. Comments determined by the presiding officer to be in violation of Committee meeting rules shall be ruled out of order.
