Description/Agenda: PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE Fillmore City Redevelopment Agency NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Fillmore City Redevelopment Agency (the 'Agency') will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, April 20 at 6:15 p.m. in the Council Chambers of Fillmore City, 75 West Center Street, Fillmore, Utah 84631. The purpose of the public hearing is to accept public comment on the Fillmore North End Community Reinvestment Area (the 'CRA') Project Area draft Plan (the 'draft Plan') and the Project Area draft Budget (the 'draft Budget'). The Fillmore City Redevelopment Agency has requested $2,014,181 in property tax revenues that will be generated by development within the Fillmore North End Community Reinvestment Area to fund a portion of project costs within the Fillmore North End Community Reinvestment Area. These property tax revenues will be used for the following major budget categories: Development Incentives: $1,712,054, Affordable Housing: $201,418, and Administration: $100,709. These property taxes will be taxes levied by the following governmental entities, and, assuming current tax rates, the taxes paid to the Agency for this project area from each taxing entity will be as follows: Millard County: $625,665, Millard County School District: $1,175,114, Fillmore City: $158,212, and Millard County Fire Service District: $55,190. All the property taxes to be paid to the Agency for the development in the Project Area are taxes that will be generated only if the Project Area is developed. All concerned citizens are invited to attend the project area plan and budget hearing scheduled for April 20 at 6:15 p.m. in the Council Chambers in the Fillmore City Offices located at 75 West Center Street, Fillmore, Utah 84631. A copy of the Fillmore North End Community Reinvestment Area project area Plan and Budget are available at the offices of Fillmore City Redevelopment Agency at the Fillmore City Offices. A person may also call (435) 743-5233 to request a copy of the boundary description be sent to them at no cost by mail, email, or facsimile transmission. A boundary description and map of the CRA Project Area and other related information are available at http://www.fillmorecity.org. Any interested person wishing to meet and discuss the draft Plan or draft Budget, before the hearing, may contact Kevin Orton, Recorder of the Agency at the City offices at (435) 743-5233 to set up an appointment. If you would like to set up an appointment before the Public Hearing, please call on or before April 20. All citizens are welcome to attend the Public Hearing on the draft Plan and draft Budget scheduled for April 20 at the Council Chambers located at the Fillmore City Offices at 6:15 p.m. and/or submit comments to the Agency before April 20, the date of the Public Hearing. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Agency and Fillmore City will make efforts to provide reasonable accommodations to disabled members of the public in accessing City facilities.
