RECEIPT OF BIDS: Sealed bids will be accepted at the Office of the City Recorder North Ogden City, 505 E 2600 N, North Ogden City, Utah, 84414, until 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 25, 2021, for the 3350
North 800 East Project for North Ogden City Corporation.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work consists of reconstruction of the intersection at 3350 N 800 East. The specific work items include furnishing and installing approximately 675 square yards of asphalt, 967 square feet of sidewalk, and 221 linear feet of curb and gutter. The work includes reconstructing manholes, valve boxes, catch basins, and completion of associated work, as indicated in the Contract Documents.
LOCATION OF WORK: The work is located 3350 North 800 East North Ogden, Utah.
COMPLETION OF WORK: All work specified in the contract documents shall be completed within 30 days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
OPENING OF BIDS: Bids will be publicly opened at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 25, 2021, at the aforementioned office of the City Recorder North Ogden City.

BID SECURITY: Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of five percent of the total bid price, made payable to North Ogden City Corporation as guarantee that the bidder, if his bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Contract, secure payment of Worker's Compensation insurance and furnish a satisfactory, faithful performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent of the contract price and a payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent of the contract
price.
PROJECT ADMINISTRATION: All questions relative to this project prior to opening of bids shall be directed to the Engineer. No specification interpretations will be made by telephone, nor will any 'or equal' products
be considered for approval prior to award of contract.
OWNER'S RIGHTS RESERVED: North Ogden City Corporation reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in a bid, and to make awards in the interest of the City of North Ogden City awards the contract for the Work, such award shall be to the responsible Bidder based on the 'Choosing by Advantages' (CBA) decision making evaluation.
