NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
The Syracuse Board of Adjustment will hold public hearings on Monday, March 8, 2021
during a specially scheduled meeting beginning at 6 pm digitally via Zoom at
https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86193587119 or by phone at 1-253-215-8782, Meeting ID:
861 9358 7119 to discuss the following matters:
Variance Request from the rear yard setback requirement in SCC 10.65
to allow for an addition at 2165 S. 2200 West in the R-2 Zone.
Variance Request from SCC 8.15.010 concerning 500-foot dead-end
streets and 10.30.050 concerning frontage being required along a public
street to allow for subdivision of a lot at 1724 W. 2350 South in the R-2
Zone.
Written comments that a member of the public would like to be read during the
meeting will be accepted electronically at planningdepartment@syracuseut.com
or physically (and by mail) at 1979 W 1900 S, Syracuse, UT 84075. Comments
must be received at least five hours before the meeting. Comments received by
the deadline will be read for a maximum of three minutes each; any unread
remainder more than three minutes will be included in the public record.
All related documents are available for public review at the Community Development
Department and are posted at least twenty-four hours before the meeting at
https://www.syracuseut.gov/AgendaCenter/ in the Board of Adjustment Category. All
interested parties are welcome to attend and provide comments.
