- PUBLIC NOTICE Notice is hereby given that La Verkin City will hold a public hearing on Wednesday March 3rd, 2021 at the City Council Chambers, located at 111 South Main, La Verkin, Utah which will begin at 6:00 PM. La Verkin City proposes to apply for loan and grant funding from the Utah Permanent Community Impact Fund Board (CIB) to undertake the La Verkin Roadway Improvement Project. This project will replace asphalt and add curb & gutter and sidewalk on 100 South from Main Street to SR-9. The project will also add asphalt and curb & gutter to the 470 West cul-de-sac. It will also include upgrading some of the public utilities and other related infrastructure. The public is invited to attend and provide comments on the proposed application. If you need special accommodations to participate in the above meeting, please notify Christy Ballard at 435-635-2581 ext. 109 at least 3 working days prior to the meeting. Certificate of Posting The City Recorder does hereby certify that the above notice was posted on the La Verkin City website www.laverkin.org, the Utah Public Meeting Notice website [http://pmn.utah.gov] and the city office buildings at 435 N.
