Description/Agenda

The South Valley Sewer District intends to procure the services of Caselle to provide accounting and related software services. Services to be provided include capital asset tracking, cash receipting, check-on-demand, requisition and purchase order integration, accounts payable, payroll computing and reporting, utility billing functions, general ledger/accounting functions, Utah Retirement System reporting, federal and state reporting for monthly, quarterly and annual filings (including 941, W-2, W-3, 1099, Unemployment tax, etc.) as well as Utah State Transparency reporting. The accounting software must fully integrate with the District's third party billing providers Xpress Bill Pay and Freedom Mailing Services. Software updates must be at no additional cost. The software must be able to integrate Pretreatment formula-based billings. Vendor must have an online ticket help center with call-back functionality. This procurement is to be made on a 'sole source' basis because the cost and effort for the District to switch to another accounting software provider would be prohibitive. Caselle is the only supplier of all of the above listed required to ensure compatibility with the District's existing software, technology and processes. The procurement will occur after March 3, 2021.
