- NOTICE OF HEARING - VARIANCE REQUEST NOTICE is hereby given that the Administrative Hearing Officer for West Haven City is conducting an ongoing hearing via email exchange related to the following matter: Request of Mark Ellis for a front yard setback variance related to property located at 2580 West 2200 South in West Haven. The property is within the A-1 zoning district, which requires a minimum setback of 30 feet between the front property line and any home constructed on the property. The request is for a variance allowing a new home to be constructed within 25 feet of the front property line of the parcel. Those wishing more information regarding this request may contact the hearing officer by email at ccall@andersoncall.com. Upon request at that email address the hearing officer will provide copies of documents related to the request and allow public comment on the matter. Comments by the public will be included in the record of the proceedings, which will be conducted entirely by electronic means as allowed by law. The deadline for any comment is ten days from the date of this notice, or February 1, 2021.
