Agenda Item #3 Nostalgia by Brit - Mobile business
Britney Walls Child is looking to serve the greater Carbon County area by being a traveling nail tech. She will be keeping supplies at her home in Wellington and will take necessary kits depending on the service she is providing.
Motion: All in favor to approve to proceed with the next steps at the next City Council meeting.
Agenda Item #4 Christian Judd
Christian is looking to bring a storage container to his property at the old First Baptist church. Christian mentions that he cannot get a contractor to do anything right now as they are all booked up. He also mentioned that storage sheds tend to wear over time and they age poorly rendering the storage container to be more economical. Christian would like to put in a 40x50 foot slab of concrete to put it on.
Motion: Comissioner Mooseman made a motion to take some time to investigate the county vs. city requirements and wanted to revisit this during the next Planning and Zoning Meeting. All in favor.
Agenda Item #5 Marty and Leslie Douglas - 1589 E Main Street
Marty and Leslie were not initially on the agenda, Glenna Nelson forgot to include their request. Marty and Leslie are renting the property out to some tenants and would like to put up an Axillary Dwelling Unit on the property. Their biggest question the two had would be if they were going to have to get utility hookups or if they would be able to run utilities off of the existing house. Leslie mentioned she was hoping to have a horse facility, she would need a business license with Wellington City even if she has one with Carbon County.
Motion: Comissioner Mooseman made a motion to privately contact Marty and Leslie by Tuesday, July 13. If a special session is necessary, they will send an email out. All in favor.
