Workshop Topics: Introduced by Chad Wright Recreation Director 6:30-7pm
- Report on Recreation programs and events including plans for Spring/Summer (Chad Wright)
- Update on Parks and Trails current projects: (Chad Wright or Rodney Elwood)
1. Call to Order and Roll Call (President or Acting President)
2. Approval of Minutes and Agenda (President or Acting President)
3. Public Comment Period1 (President or Acting President)
4. Review of Action Items from previous meeting (Stacy)
5. Discussion and report on Utah Youth Soccer Legacy Field proposal status, and Parks and Recreation capital projects planning (Chad Wright)
6. Workshop discussion and consideration regarding utilities situation at regional park property. (President or Acting President, presented by city staff)
7. Parks and Recreation budget recommendations from committee to report to council. (Chad Wright and President or Acting President)
8. USU Nibley Wellbeing survey support (Chad Wright)
9. Workshop discussion regarding funding options for park development including but not limited to municipal bonds, long-term field rental agreements, special service districts. (Chad and President or Acting President)
10. Discussion and Consideration of project status and recommendations for City Council, Planning & Zoning regarding park feature recommendations. For upcoming park projects, including Monte Vista 2-acre Park, Ridgeline Park, and finalizing a general list of recommended park amenities for park/open space property offered to Nibley city by developers. 11. Workshop discussion and consideration regarding additional updates for existing and proposed parks and or trails (President or Acting President, Chad Wright & Rod Elwood)
12. Committee member reports of community/public official interaction regarding Parks and Recreation and or other reports.
13. Discussion and Consideration of action Items, assignments moving forward (President or Acting President)

1 Public input is welcomed at all Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee Meetings. 15 minutes have been allotted to receive verbal public comment. Verbal comments shall be limited to 3 minutes per person. A sign-up sheet is available at the entrance of the meeting or shall be available through chat (only during the public comment period) starting 15 minutes prior to each committee meeting and at the facilitators table for the duration of the public comment period. Commenters shall identify themselves by name and address on the comment form and or verbally for inclusion in the record. Comment will be taken in the order shown on the sign-up sheet or chat cue. Written comment will also be accepted and entered into the record for the meeting if received prior to the conclusion of the meeting. Comments determined by the presiding officer to be in violation of Committee meeting rules shall be ruled out of order.
