Notice of Municipal Election In accordance with Utah Code 10-3-301, Marriott-Slaterville City will have two (2) City Council seats open for election this year. One (1) seat is open in each of the two (2) Election Districts, and the Office of Mayor is open. Those interested in running for any of these City Council seats must file a Declaration of Candidacy with the City Recorder at the Municipal Building located at 1570 West 400 North, during office hours as prescribed by law between June 1, 2021 and June 7, 2021. A Nomination Petition may also be filed during the same time period. Filing fees apply. Any person filing a declaration of candidacy for a municipal office must meet the requirements of Utah Code 20A-9-203. Candidates must also file the campaign financial disclosures required by state law. For more information contact the City Recorder at 801-627-1919, Ext. 202. Published: February 1 and February 8.

NOTICE CANCELING THE MARRIOTT-SLATERVILLE CITY 2015 ELECTION In accordance with UCA 20A-1-206, the Marriott-Slaterville City Council adopted a Resolution on September 17, 2015, cancelling the 2015 Marriott-Slaterville City Municipal Election based upon the number of candidates not exceeding the number of municipal offices elected, and no write-in candidates filed by the September 4, 2015, deadline. Questions can be directed to the City Recorder's at 801-627-1919 ext. 202. A copy of the Resolution is available for review at City Hall, located at 1570 West 400 North, Marriott-Slaterville, Utah.
