The Mount Pleasant City Council will hold a regular meeting January 12, 2021 at 6:30p.m. The meeting will be held in the City Council Chambers at 115 West Main Street, Mount Pleasant, UT. The agenda is as follows: 1. Welcome --Mayor 2. Opening Ceremony - By Invitation - Pledge of Allegiance - Opening Prayer 3. Roll Call - Recorder 4. Approval of Claims and Requisitions -- Mayor - Claims Register dated 1-09-2021 to 1-22-2021 in the amount of $223,831.00. 5. Citizen of the Month-Mayor - Recognition for the Citizen of the Month 6. Discussion/Action - Todd Beesley - Water Hook-up Outside City Limits 7. Discussion/Action - Dave Oxman - Semi Annual Financial Report 8. Discussion/Action - Marty McCain - Sanpete Pantry 9. Discussion/Action - Mayor - Discussion/Action to Accept the Culinary Water Bond 10. Discussion/Action - Mayor - Accept the Recommendation of the Planning Commission to accept the 10-year Plan for 2021-2031. 11. Public Participation - Members of the public may address the City Council on matters not listed on the agenda. Those interested should sign up on the form just inside the council room door right before the meeting begins. Participation is limited to three minutes. The participant will be allowed to address the Council and may submit documents outlining their issue. The Council cannot take legal action on public comment at this time. At the conclusion of each comment, the Council will have time to respond to criticism made by those who have addressed them, may ask staff to review a matter or may ask that a matter be placed on a future agenda. All City Council meetings are recorded. 12. Discussion/Action - Fire Department - Discussion and possible action on items pertaining to the Mt Pleasant City Fire Department. 13. Discussion/Action -- Power Department - Discussion and possible action on items pertaining to the Mt Pleasant City Power Department. o Solar Power Hold o 4-Plex Lighting Options 14. Discussion/Action -- Public Works Department - Discussion and possible action on items pertaining to the Mt Pleasant City Public Works Department. 15. Council Reports - Justin Atkinson-Copy of Roadcut permit given in council packets for council to look at and make recommendations on. - Kevin Stallings - Russell Keisel - Rondy Black - Sam Draper 16. Mayor Report 17.
