The agenda for the Board Meeting will be as follows:
1. Board meeting called to order by Board Chair, Chief David Olsen
2. Approval of the September 8, 2020, Board meeting minutes.
3. Report to the Board by Chief Scott Spencer, Chair, Utah Fire Service Certification Council.
4. Report to the Board by Coy Porter, Utah State Fire Marshal, on pending legislation.
5. Report to the Board by Coy Porter, Utah State Fire Marshal, and Brad Wardle, Director Utah Fire and Rescue Academy, concerning the status of UFRA memorandum of understanding.
6. Re-appointment to the Utah Fire Service Certification Council of Jason Earl, Deputy Chief, Orem Fire Department; Christopher Trevino, Deputy Chief, West Jordan Fire Department; and David Youngberg, Battalion Chief, North Davis Fire District.
7. Appointment by the Board of the following individuals to the Fire Advisory and Code Analysis Committee: Todd Hohbein, Utah State Fire Marshal's office; Chief David Powers, Fire Marshal's Association of Utah; Dan Devoogd, local fire department representative; Malcolm Campbell, Department of Health; Rick Sturm, Utah Labor Commission; Don Brinkerhoff, Department of Human Services; and David Vickers, Forestry, Fire, and State Lands.
8. Approval by the Board of the proposed changes to R710-4.
9. Approval by the Board to conduct the March Fire Prevention Board meeting virtually.
