ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Milford City 26 South 100 West PO Box 69 Milford, UT 84751 MILFORD CITY CULINARY WATER IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT 2020 Separate Sealed Bids for the construction of the MILFORD CULINARY WATER IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT 2019 will be received from Bidders, by Milford City at 26 South 100 West, PO Box 69, Milford, Utah 84751 until 10:00 AM local time on January 21, 2021, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of constructing: A new 600,000 gallon concrete storage tank at the site of the City's existing tank; modifications and repairs to the existing concrete tank; a new booster pump station and equipment replacing an existing booster pump station; distribution improvements consisting of approximately 900 feet of 8' pipeline, 600 feet of 10' pipeline, 12,200 feet of 12' pipeline, 2,200 feet of 16' pipeline, valve replacements; a new concrete well building; installation of well equipment and controls for a new well at the new well building site; a system wide SCADA system; 3 standby generator systems; modifications to an existing well (equipment and controls); and a new radio read meter system including system software and reading equipment, approximately 700 new radio-read meters, new meter setters. Bids will be received for a single prime contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is Sunrise Engineering Inc., 25 East 500 North, Fillmore, Utah 84631, Phone (435) 743 6151 with Ben Coray (bcoray@sunrise-eng.com) as Project Manager and Jesse Ralphs (jralphs@sunrise-eng.com) as Project Engineer. Beginning December 21, 2020, Bidding Documents may be obtained online at no cost by visiting our plan room at www.sunrise-eng.com. Following registration, complete sets of Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the Issuing Office's website as 'zipped' portable document format (PDF) files. Printed and bound copies of the Bidding Documents will also be available from the Issuing Office upon receipt of $85.00 for each set. Cost of Bidding Documents is non-refundable. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of the Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 AM local time on January 7, 2021 starting from the Milford City office, 26 South 100 West, Milford, Utah. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is recommended, but not mandatory. Names of those in attendance will be recorded. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Division A - Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017) and subsequent statutes mandating domestic preference applies an American Iron and Steel requirement to this project. All listed iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The term 'iron and steel products' means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and construction materials.
