NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that the Oak City Town Board will hold three Public Hearings in conjunction with its Regular Town Board Meeting on December 17, 2020 at the Oak City Town Hall in the Conference Room beginning at 7:30 p.m. The purpose of the First Public Hearing will be to get public comment on Ordinance 2020-01 The Zeb Nielson Annexation Ordinance. If adopted this Ordinance will provide annexation of this property. The purpose of the Second Public Hearing will be to get public comment on Ordinance 2020-02 The Stewart Rowley Annexation. If adopted, this Ordinance will provide annexation of this property. The purpose of the Third Public Hearing will be to get public comment on Ordinance 2020-03 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE COMPENSATION OF STATUTORY OFFICERS AND GENERAL EMPLOYEES OF THE TOWN OF OAK CITY, UTAH. If adopted, this Ordinance would provide an increase in the base wage for DeAnn Steele, Town Treasurer and and Karen Lovell, Town Clerk by 3% and also give them a cost-of-living increase of 3%.This will raise Karen's salary to about $400 per month and DeAnn's to about $1,500 per month. The Public Works Specialist, currently Nathan Nielson, would receive a 3% cost-of-living increase. It would enact a $30 per animal capture wage. Copies of these Ordinance will be available at the home office of Karen K. Lovell, Oak City Town Clerk located at 270 West 100 North Oak City, Utah.
