Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday December 1, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. Public Hearing will be
held in Room 303, Commission Chambers, Administration Building, 61 South Main Street,
Farmington, Utah, before the Davis County Commission to accept public comments on the
following items:
- The first of two public hearings on the upcoming Five-Year Consolidated Plan for the
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program for funding received from the
U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
- The County is responsible for the development, administration, and implementation of
the Plan in accordance with the CDBG program guidelines; The Plan covers the five
year period from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2025.
- Due to the COVID-19 pandemic County residents are encouraged to provide input
through an online survey found on the County Website; all results will be added to the
Consolidated Plan.
- Significant Amendments to the Program Year 2020 Annual Action Plan (Action Plan)
- The County is amending the Action Plan due to the addition of projects pursuant to the
receipt of further CARES Act (CDBG-CV(3)) funds in support of the ongoing COVID-19
pandemic.
Prior to approving any recommendations, the County Commission will consider and review all
public comments, as well as recommendations provided by the Community & Economic
Development Department. All comments received will be added to the public record.
