PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE -HARRISVILLE CEMETERY SERVICE DISTRICT
In accordance with Utah Code 17D-1-205 notice is hereby given that the Harrisville City Council has adopted a resolution stating its intent to create a special service district constituting the municipal boundaries of Harrisville City. The services that the special service district is proposed to provide are cemetery services. Taxes may be levied annually upon all taxable property within the proposed special service district. Fees or charges may be imposed to pay for some or all of the services that the special service district is proposed to provide. To protest the creation of this district please submit a written protest to the City Recorder on behalf of the Legislative Body in accordance with Utah Code 17D-1-206. A written protest shall be submitted no later than sixty (60) days after the public hearing and explain why the person is protesting. A Public Hearing will be held at Harrisville City located at 363 W. Independence, Harrisville, Utah, before the City Council on November 10, 2020 at 7:00 PM. At the public hearing the City Council will take public comment in favor and opposition to the proposed creation of this special district.
