Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of Farr West City will hold a 6:00 pm work session and its regular meeting at 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 8, 2020 electronically over Webex; due to recently enacted emergency protocols concerning the COVID-19 virus, public attendance will be by electronic means only. To view the council meeting live, email the recorder for an invitation. Public comments will be taken over this platform during the meeting. Comments will also be accepted in writing before the meeting by emailing Recorder Lindsay Afuvai at lindsay@farrwestcity.com. *Invitation requests must be sent to the recorder by 4pm on October 8th. Requests sent after this time, are not guaranteed an invitation to the meeting. 6:00 p.m. - Work Session to discuss the general plan 1. Call to Order - Chairman Ted Black 2. Opening Ceremony a. First public hearing as advertised - Consider the request of a re-zone of the David Chugg property located at approximately 1300 North 1200 West, parcel number 15-001-0054, from the A-1 zone to the C-2 Commercial zone - David Chugg ii. Second public hearing as advertised - consider the request of a re-zone of the Baxter Living Trust property located at 2990 North 2000 West, parcel number 19-017-0009, from the A-1 zone to the C-2 Commercial zone - LeGrand Woolstenhulme iii. Third public hearing as advertised - consider the intent of the legislative body to approve and incorporate an agribusiness ordinance into the Farr West City municipal code c. Close public hearings and proceed with the regular meeting d. Recommend approval of the David Chugg property re-zone located at approximately 1300 North 1200 West, parcel number 15-001-0054, from the A-1 zone to the C-2 Commercial zone e. Recommend approval of the Baxter Living Trust property re-zone located at 2990 North 2000 West, parcel number 19-017-0009, from the A-1 zone to the C-2 Commercial zone f.
