- NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE The GATEWAY RECREATION & WELLNESS DISTRICT is proposing to increase its property tax revenue. - The GATEWAY RECREATION & WELLNESS DISTRICT tax on a $89,000 residence would increase from $0 to $43.08, which is $43.08 per year. - The GATEWAY RECREATION & WELLNESS DISTRICT tax on a $89,000 business would increase from $0 to $78.32 which is $78.32 per year. - If the proposed budget is approved, GATEWAY RECREATION & WELLNESS DISTRICT would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 100% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth. All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase.
