- NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE The UPPER COMMUNITY RECREATION DISTRICT is proposing to increase its property tax revenue. - The UPPER COMMUNITY RECREATION DISTRICT tax on a $147,000 residence would increase from $0 to $37.84, which is $37.84 per year. - The UPPER COMMUNITY RECREATION DISTRICT tax on a $147,000 business would increase from $0 to $68.80 which is $68.80 per year. - If the proposed budget is approved, UPPER COMMUNITY RECREATION DISTRICT would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 100% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth. All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase.
