Amalga Planning and Zoning Meeting September 2, 2020 7:00 PM Visitors: Alexandria Houghton, Jeff Elwood, April Turner Members: Lance Gates, Chairman. Brian Larsen, Kelly Noble, Carl Sims, Commission Members. Howard Kunz, Town Board. Dave Lee Secretary. Michelle Gittins, Town Treasurer 1. Minutes of August 5, 2020 read by Kelly Noble. Motion to Approve-Brian Larsen Second-Carl Sims Motion Carried 2. Request for Home Occupation Permits from Alexandria Houghton for an online Social Marketing Business, and an online T-shirt Business at 2505 W 6200 N. She will be using a heat press to put images on T-shirts. Motion to Approve-Carl Sims Second-Kelly Noble Motion Carried 3. Request for a Zoning Clearance from April Turner to build a greenhouse at 2260 W 6200 N. There is a plan to raise flowers and produce green goods for sale at this site. The impact that this would have on the area is yet to be determined. April stated that regardless of the decision she wanted to build the greenhouse for Deserie. April was told that approval for the greenhouse at this time does not constitute or guarantee approval for a commercial venture at a later date. . Motion to Approve-Brian Larsen Second-Carl Sims Motion Carried 4. Discussion about the Houghton-Peterson situation. It was determined that until we had direction from the attorney, any discussion was not advisable. 5. Carl Sims stated his intention to resign from the commission. Motion to Adjourn-Carl Sims Second-Kelly Noble Motion Carried Meeting adjourned at 8:00 PM
