IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR DRINKING WATER
Monitoring requirements were not Met for UTAH #13004
Our water system violated a drinking water standard this year. Even though this was not and emergency, as our customers, you have a right to know what happened and what we did to correct this situation.
We are required to monitor your drinking water for specific contaminants on a regular basis. Results of regular monitoring are an indicator of whether or not our drinking water meets health standards. During JULY 2020 we DID NOT monitor or test for ROUTINE bacteriologic analysis and therefore cannot be sure of the quality of our drinking water at that time.
What should I do?
There is nothing you need to do at this time.
Below is the list of the contaminant(s) we did not properly test for during July 2020, how often we are supposed to sample for ROUTINE bacteriological contaminants, how may samples we are supposed to take, how many samples we took, when samples should be taken, and the date on which follow-up samples were or will be taken.

What happened? What is being done?
This lapse of testing was an oversight due to COVID-19. We have since taken the steps to correct this oversight. The August 2020 ROUTINE bacteriological sample was taken as required, The test August 2020 was NEGATIVE for total chloroform and E-coli. We have also implemented a plan of action to test when the water operator is unavailable.
