DOCUMENT 00 11 16 ADVERTISEMENT NOTICE TO BIDDERS Sealed proposals for the construction of Vowles Minor Subdivision - Lateral Improvement Project will be received by Tooele City Public Works Office located at 90 North Main Street, Tooele, Utah 84074, until Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at 4:30 PM local Mountain Standard Daylight Savings Time. Once received, they will be publicly opened. This Project consists of the construction of 3 4' sewer laterals, 5 1' water laterals with 1' meter box, and repair of the sidewalk, asphalt, curb and gutter associated with the install of the water meter, water lateral, and sewer lateral. The principal items of work are as follows: The areas indicated on the plans are to be sawcut to provide access to install the sewer laterals, water laterals, and water meters. All removed asphalt, base course, sidewalk, and curb and gutter material to be properly disposed of offsite, sub-grade shall be graded and Shaped to proper profile and then compacted, soft sub-grade areas shall be stabilized. - - - - - - --+ Granular Borrow shall be placed to a depth of 12-inches minimum and compacted to line and grade as select borrow roadway embankment material, 9-inches Grade I untreated base course shall be provided and graded to match existing and compacted, and 3-inches of PG 64- 28 Grade 1/2 asphalt material shall then be placed and compacted as the finished surface. Curb and gutter to be restored to Tooele City standards. Sidewalk to be restored to Tooele City Standards. Water laterals are to be installed to Tooele City standards. Water Meters are to be installed to Tooele City Standards. Sewer Laterals are to be installed to Tooele City standards. The project is to be completed within 60 calendar days of Notice to Proceed. Proposal forms, plans, and specifications are available for review by prospective bidders by 12:00 PM Wednesday, September 2, 2020 in the office of Tooele City Public Works located at 90 North Main Street, Tooele, Utah 84074. Specifications, proposal forms, and plans may also be purchased at the above location upon application and payment of a nonrefundable fee of $50.00. Bid Bond is not required for this Project. Any mention of Bid Bond throughout the bidding and contract documents does not apply to this project. The right to reject any or all bids is reserved.
