LEGAL NOTICE On August 18, 2020 the Nephi City Council received a certification from the City Recorder concerning the Gun Range Annexation petition requesting annexation of approximately 37 acres into the city. The proposed annexation area is 1042 N 1-15 Frontage Road. The complete annexation petition is available for inspection at the office of the Nephi City Recorder located at 21 E 100 N, Nephi, UT. Nephi City may grant the petition and annex the area described in the petition unless, within the time required in the ordinance, a written protest to the annexation petition is filed with the Juab County Clerk at 160 N Main, Nephi, UT and on the same date a copy of the protest shall be mailed or delivered to the office of the Nephi City Recorder at 21 E 100 N, Nephi, UT. Protests must be received before September 18, 2020 to be considered. Any protest to the annexation petition may be filed by the legislative body or governing board of an affected entity; or the owner of rural real property as defined in the Utah Code 17B-2a-1107.
