Pleasant Grove Historic Preservation Commission Agenda Meeting Place: Old Town Hall building (107 South 100 East) Meeting Date and Time: Thursday, August 20, 7 PM Business Excused: Review and/or approve minutes: Motion by: Agenda Items 1. Conduct subcommittee reports: Preservation Update on the Old Town Hall project. (Laurel) - We need to create a list of items we want done on the Old Town Hall. Those who would like to stay after the meeting today, we'll walk through the building to compile one. - Grant paperwork is due August 31. Laurel has everything except one invoice. She will submit everything when that arrives. We spent $14K, which was $6K short of the maximum amount. Community Outreach Laurel purchased the address labels and postage for our postcard project (which has been tabled until we have an event to advertise). All community outreach events are postponed to at least January 2021. Digitization & Archives Our next archive inventory session is Wednesday, September 9 (4:30 PM) and September 10 (10 AM). History & Publications Laurel is printing the Rose Garden Walking Tour book to be available at city hall. It's being advertised in the Heritage Festival edition of the Timpanogos Times, on our Facebook page, and the city newsletter. 2. Discuss our 2020-2021 budget sheet (compiled by Laurel). If all agree, vote to adopt. 3. What projects/events can we safely do during COVID-19 restrictions? Brainstorm ideas. 4. As of January 1, city council has not approved the revisions to our bylaws. Brent, can we get an update? 5. Those who would like to stay, we'll walk through the Old Town Hall to create a list of items that need to be renovated and/or repaired. Next meeting: Thursday, September 17 at 7 PM
