NOTICE AND AGENDA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gunnison City Council will hold a Work Meeting on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at 5:30 p.m. along with the regularly scheduled Meeting on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at the Gunnison City Hall, 38 West Center, beginning at 7:00 p.m. Work Meeting 1) 5:30 p.m. Work Meeting with Six County Association Leaders to discuss with City Council and Business Leaders in the Community a. Develop Total Vision – Review & Revise Vision Statement b. Review Mission Statement c. Develop Strategic Economic Plan d. Present Possible Incentive Programs for Façade Enhancement – Kevin Christensen, Sanpete Economic Development Director Gunnison City, Utah Council Business 1) Administration of Oath of Office to Youth City Council 2) Discuss and Approve New Swimming Pool Manager – Council Member Brian Jensen 3) City Clean-up –April 25-May 2 -Council Member Trevor Powell 4) Discuss White’s Sanitation Fee Increase 5) Discuss Utah League of Cities and Towns upcoming Convention April 13-15, St. George 6) Review Gunnison City Website 7) Discuss 4th of July Celebration – Council Member Larry Jensen 8) Present and Review New Zoning and Land Use Ordinances – Council Member Brian Jensen 9) Review, Discuss and Approve Various Points of Strategic Economic Development Plan, i.e Total Vision Exercise 10) Present Plan for Infrastructure Upgrades – Culinary Water System – Supervisor Donald Childs and Council Member Steve Buchanan 11) Approve Minutes from Work Meeting on Wednesday February 16, 2011, and City Council Meeting Wednesday February 16, 2011 Open Session and Closed Session 12) Future Items to be Listed on Agenda 13) Closed Session 13) Adjourn NOTE: The agenda items may be discussed in any order. *In compliance with ADA, persons needing auxiliary communicative aids & accommodations for City-sponsored public meetings, services, programs, etc. should call City Offices at (435)528-7969 giving at least 24 hours notice.
