PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
SNYDERVILLE BASIN DEVELOPMENT CODE AMENDMENTS
NOTICE is hereby given that the Summit County Council will meet electronically, via Zoom to conduct a public hearing and possibly take action on potential amendments to Sections 10-2 Zoning Districts, Development Potential and Requirements of the Snyderville Basin Development Code. The Council is considering the creation of a new Neighborhood Mixed Use zoning district (NMU-1). The purpose of the zone is to create new Development and redevelopment areas that are:
- Compact
- Mixed use
- Pedestrian-focused
- Transit-oriented
- Performance-based
At this time, there are no areas proposed to be rezoned to NMU-1. Property(s) must be designated for mixed use on the Snyderville Basin General Plan, Future Land Use Map to be eligible for consideration for a rezone to NMU-1. The meeting will be held:
