Description/Agenda: The Syracuse City is proposing to increase its property tax revenue. - The Syracuse City tax on a $347,000 residence would increase from $279.98 to $304.02, which is $24.04 per year. - The Syracuse City tax on a $347,000 business would increase from $509.05 to $552.77, which is $43.72 per year. - If the proposed budget is approved, Syracuse City would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 8.60% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth. All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase.
