REGULAR AGENDA Mapleton City Council Meeting Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at 6:00 pm Notice is hereby given that the Mapleton City Council will hold their regularly scheduled City Council meeting beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2020, virtually through a link with Zoom Video Communications. Please check the Mapleton City Website at www.mapleton.org for a link to participate and/or view the meeting. As per Governor Herbert's executive order 2020-5, there will be no anchor location and a quorum will be present electronically. CALLED TO ORDER- MAYOR'S COMMENTS PRESENTATION BY ENVISION UTAH - VALLEY VISIONING CONSENT AGENDA: Items on the consent agenda are routine in nature and do not require discussion or independent action. Members of the Council may ask to remove any items from the consent agenda to be considered individually. Unless that is done, one motion may be used to adopt all recommended actions. If the public has questions or comments regarding the consent agenda, please contact staff prior to the meeting. 1. Approval of City Council meeting minutes- July 15, 2020 2. Consideration of a ratification to the Resolution approved on June 3, 2020 for the public safety replacement vehicles. Cory Branch, City Administrator 3. Consideration of a Resolution approving the Preliminary Plat for the Maple Fields subdivision consisting of 25 lots located at approximately 1900 West 1600 South in the RA-2 zone. Sean Conroy, Community Development Director People will be given the opportunity to make comments in writing during each public hearing by emailing cbrown@mapleton.org. Your comments will be read in order of the request PUBLIC HEARING ITEM: 4. Provide an opportunity for public input on the Mapleton City Urban Deer program. John Jackson, Public Safety Director/Police Chief ACTION ITEMS: 5. Consideration of a Resolution to adopt a city motto directed towards Mapleton's values and goals. Cory Branch, City Administrator 6. Consideration of a Resolution to adopt an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between Utah County and Mapleton City for disbursement from the Coronavirus Relief Fund. Bryce Oyler, Finance Director 7. Consideration of a Resolution authorizing not more than $18,000,000 to finance sewer treatment improvements to be secured by sewer revenues, calling a public hearing. Providing for publication of a notice of public hearing and obligations to be issued, fixing the maximum amount, maturity, interest rate, and discount at which the obligations may be made providing for the running of a contest period, and related matters.
