THE CITY OF WEST JORDAN, UTAH CITY COUNCIL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Due to the increased threat of serious illness and loss of life by the rapid spread of the COVID-19 virus, the Chair of the West Jordan City Council has determined that conducting City Council meetings at the City Hall or at another anchor location is likely to contribute to the spread of COVID-19 and would present a substantial risk to the health, safety, and welfare of the City's residents, participants, and observers. Therefore, pursuant to Utah Code 52-4-207(4), City Council meetings of this public body will be held only electronically and this determination shall expire thirty (30) days from the date the Chair of the West Jordan City Council signs the written determination. The West Jordan City Council has scheduled an electronic public hearing to be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at which time input will be received prior to discussion and possible action concerning the proposed items: Rezone: Ron Wood Park; 5952 W New Bingham Hwy; Rezone 28.09 acres from R-1-14F (Single-family residential 14,000 square foot lots) Zone to P-F (Public Facilities) Zone; City of West Jordan (applicant) Text Amendments to the 2009 City Code: - Tattoo and Body Engraving Services as a Conditional Use in the SC-3 Zone, Redwood Road Overlay, and CC-C Zone; City-wide applicability; City of West Jordan (applicant) - Adding Accessory Dwelling Units to all Residential Zones and amending Section 13-8-3, Accessory Uses, Buildings, and Structures; City-wide applicability; City of West Jordan (applicant) - Planned Development Zones Sections 13-5C-5.C.2.a. and b. Garages in the P-C zones; City-wide applicability; City of West Jordan (applicant) The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will be held electronically. Notice of Electronic or Telephone Participation

One or more councilmembers may participate electronically in this meeting by way of telephone, FaceTime, Skype or other comparable online video conferencing technology per Utah Code (§52-4-207) and West Jordan City Ordinance 1-13-1-E. Members participation via electronic communication will be broadcast and amplified so other Council Members and all other persons present in the Council Chambers will be able to hear or see the communication.
