INVITATION TO BID ON A NEW FIRE STATION TO BE BUILT BY THE TOWN OF WALES, UTAH The Town of Wales, Utah, is building a new fire station. The structure is 85 feet by 80 feet (6,800 square feet in area), and will be a pre manufactured steel building supplied by C. O. Building Systems. The building will have a reinforced concrete floor. There will be 3 drive through bays for fire engines. There will also be an office, storage area, 2 restrooms, and a meeting room inside the building that will be frame construction. There will be a limited use mezzanine area above the office and meeting room area. A septic system will also need to be installed. Drawings will be available on August 3rd and bids will be due August 17th at 3:00 PM. Bids may be submitted to the office of the architect by any of the following means: 1. Postal service addressed to: Architectural Coalition, 1991 South State Road, Springville, Utah 84663. 2. Hand delivered to: Architectural Coalition, 1991 South State Road, Springville, Utah. 3. Emailed to: archcoalition@hotmail.com. Postal delivered and hand delivered bids must be in a sealed envelope. Emailed bids will not be opened until the 3:00 PM deadline, and will immediately be put into a sealed envelope. Bids will be publicly opened the next evening at 7:00 PM in the Wales Town hall, located at 150 North State, Wales, Utah. It is expected that the selected contractor will be able to start construction immediately after the Notice to Proceed has been issued, and the Owner/General Contractor Agreement has been signed.
