- CITY OF OREM SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING 56 North State Street, Orem, Utah July 07, 2020 1. NOTICE OF ELECTRONIC MEETING To minimize the potential spread of COVID-19, and as authorized by Mayor Richard F. Brunst's Proclamation dated June 30, 2020, the Special City Council meeting on July 7, 2020 will be an all-electronic meeting. There will be no public access to the Orem City Council chambers. Those desiring to view or participate in the meeting must do so electronically; the live meeting event may be streamed at orem.org/meetings. Thank you for your cooperation during these challenging times. 2. CALL TO ORDER 3. SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING 3.1. STAFF APPOINTMENT - Fire Department Director - Chief Marc Sanderson Mr. Davidson asks for the Council's advice and consent on his appointment of Marc Sanderson as the Director of the City's Fire Department. The City Recorder will administer the Oath of Office for Chief Sanderson. Presenter: Jamie Davidson 4. ADJOURNMENT
