- Sole Source - Bridge Mounted Rotors The South Valley Sewer District intends to procure the services of Lakeside Equipment Corporation to provide Bridge Mounted Rotors with the following specifications: - 32-inch diameter by 6-foot long Mini-Magna Rotor with central torque tube, end plates, star shaped detachable blades, flanged stub shafts both ends, and inboard and outboard pillow block bearings. Operation of the unit at design conditions is 4-inch immersion. - 1 - Drive assembly as shown in drawing. - 1 - 5 HP, 1750 rpm, 3 phase, 60 Hertz, 460 volt, inverter duty, totally enclosed fan cooled motor. - 1 - Support bridge, with main support channels, upstream aluminum grating walkway with 1 1/2 in. diameter aluminum hand railing on either side, hinged cover plates over Rotor, upstream and downstream splash shields and side splash and bearing support plates. - 1 - Set of anchor bolts, stainless steel. This procurement is to be made on a 'sole source' basis because Lakeside Equipment Corporation is the only supplier of all of the above listed required items and to ensure compatibility with the District's existing hardware, technology, and processes. Transitional costs would be cost prohibitive. The procurement will occur after July 9, 2020.
