Description/Agenda: The Wellsville City Council will hold a public hearing regarding proposing to increase property tax revenue. The Wellsville tax on a $301,000 residence would increase from $150.65 to $157.11, which is $6.46 per year. The Wellsville Tax on a $301,000 business would increase from $273.91 to $285.65 which is $11.74 per year. If the proposed budget is approved, Wellsville would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 4.32% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth. All concerned citizens are invited to attend a public hearing on the tax increase.
