AGENDA LEAMINGTON TOWN COUNCIL Wednesday, June 17th, 2020 6:30 p.m. Public Meeting to Review Budget Public Meeting will be held to receive comment on the proposed budget, after which the budget portion will be closed and the regular town council will proceed as follows: 1. Review and Approval of Bills 2. Call to Order 3. Review & Approval of May 13, 2020 Minutes 4. Open and Public Meeting Training is Required -Read a Paragraph Water & Garbage : 1. Review of Garbage Collection Fees for Residents and Businesses 2. Water System Pipe Replacement from Well to Firehouse 3. Backup Generator and Building for Wellhouse Design 4. Water Ordinance Review will be postponed until July meeting 5. Paperwork to get credit for water being replaced down the well needs to be initiated 6. Audit Statement for billing errors at end of June should be printed on each bill 5. Ordinance Review and Format Planning - Dog Ordinance Titles 1-9 6. General Plan Vision Statement Development Roads/Cemetery: 1. Chip and Seal Road Overlay Planning 2. Cemetery Improvement Project Update 3. Highway Sign/Mounting Pole for Cemetery - order sign from County Road Department & order pole and mounting from State Department 4. Highway Stop Sign at corner of Cottonwood Drive by Phil Lovell's home - have State Highway Department install the sign 5. Discussion on possible placement of Yield Sign on Cemetery Road at 400 E for Cemetery Intersection - this is done by County Road Supervisor 6. Weed Management on State Road and Pothole Filling at Hwy 125 & 132 Intersection 7. Purchase of Compacter Town Hall/Parks/Planning and Zoning: 1. Hiring of Groundskeeper 2. Review of agreement on stall fees, pasture fees, crop fees, and housing rodeo animals. Rental Use Agreement needs to be signed by Town Hall and Users 3. Rodeo Arena and Softball Diamond Lights Design 4. Appraisal of Town Hall, Arena, Bleachers is scheduled for the second quarter of 2020 5. Flag Stand Design to be Placed for State and National Flags in Council Room Quarters 6. Leamarado Days Preparations 7. Discussion on Clean-Up Days in Leamington twice a year 8. Planning and Zoning Requirements Discussion 9. Planning for Placement of 4 Power Pole Brackets at Town Hall and Fire Station for Flags/Banners / Purchase of Flags 10. Planning for Kitchen Upgrade/Handicap Bathroom Town Hall 11. Old Primary Room Upgrade to Bride's Room 12. Planning for Maintenance/Storage Shed 13. 14. Refinish Three Town Hall Doors 15. Redo Fence in front of Town Hall 16. Lawn Sprinkler Progress 17. Town Hall Roof - Schedule of Replacement 18. Rocky Mountain Power Wattsmart Incentive 19. Pump Town Hall Septic Tank 20. Excavate Potential Oil Tank 21. Extend Pipe from Furnace Room and Install Elbows 22. Pour 2-inch Layer of Concrete over the Coal Bin 23. Power Wash and Paint Bleachers 24.
