PUBLIC NOTICE The La Verkin City Council shall hold a public hearing on Wednesday, June 17, 2020, at 6:00 p.m., in the La Verkin City Offices, 111 South Main Street, La Verkin, Utah, during its regularly-scheduled Council meeting, to receive public input on the following items: 1. Resolution No. R-2020-___, declaring surplus and - a. available for sale, trade, and/or other appropriate disposition, a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck (formerly used as a public-works, parks-related vehicle); and b. available for possible purchase by police officers of certain Glock weapons currently assigned to them in their capacity as police officers, and c. available for sale, trade, and/or other appropriate disposition, certain computer and other electronic and phone-related equipment, a bicycle, and certain weapons (including but not limited to the Glocks referred to in section 2 above) (formerly used and in the possession of the police department). 2. Resolution No. R-2020-___, FY 2019-2020 Budget Amendment Copies of the Resolutions are available in the office of the City Recorder at 435 North Main Street, La Verkin, Utah. Any person or group wishing to submit comments regarding either or both items may do so in writing prior to June 17, 2020. Public comment may be given at the meeting. Written comments should be directed to Christy Ballard, City Recorder, La Verkin City, 435 North Main, La Verkin, UT 84745.
