UPDATED NOTICE:
Wasatch County School District Board of Education will hold a public hearing on the final amended 2019-2020 budget and on the tentative 2020-2021 budget during the regularly scheduled Board of Education meeting to be held virtually on Thursday, June 18, 2020, at 6:30 PM. A copy of the 2020-2021 budget has been placed on file with the Business Administrator of the Board of Education as well as the district website for public inspection.
The meeting anchor location is the Wasatch Education Center located at 101 E 200 N, Heber City, Utah. Due to COVID 19 precautions the location will not be open to the public, however public comment is welcome by submitting a Public Comment Request Form at https://www.wasatch.edu/Page/16309, calling 435-654-7752 or by emailing questions@wasatch.edu, prior to noon on Thursday, June 18, 2020.
This meeting will be broadcast live at Wasatch-YouTube.com and will be posted afterwards on the Wasatch County School District Website.
PUBLIC COMMENT PROCEDURE -
-Submit a public comment request form at https://www.wasatch.edu/Page/16309, call 435-654-7752 or email questions@wasatch.edu, prior to noon on Thursday, June 18, 2020.
-You may request to speak to one or multiple agenda items but must identify the agenda items to which you are interested in providing comment.
-Approximately 30 minutes before the meeting you will receive a link in your email to enter the Zoom meeting (Zoom.com). We recommend you log in to the meeting at least 15 minutes before the meeting is scheduled to begin.
-After clicking on the link to the Zoom meeting, you will be ushered into the meeting as an attendee. Upon entry into the meeting, your microphone will be muted and will remain muted until it is your turn to provide comment.
-When the board president authorizes public comment, registered individuals will have the floor, and will one at a time be unmuted by the host. Attendee will be allowed 2 minutes for comment.
An executive session may follow the board meeting to discuss the character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual; and the purchase, exchange, or lease of real property, collective bargaining and or matters of litigation. Section 52-4-5 of the Open Meetings Act identifies the topics that may be discussed in a closed meeting.
