PUBLIC NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the St. George City Planning Commission will hold electronic public hearings on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at 5:00 PM to consider the following: Various amendments to Title 10, Zoning Regulations, of the St. George city code. A request for a zone change from A-20 (agriculture, 20 acre lots) to R-1-8 (Residential 8,000 sq. ft. minimum lot size) on approximately 29.73 acres (outlined on the map in red). An additional 5.56 acres is requested to change from A-20 (agriculture, 20 acre lots) to A-1 (40,000 sq. ft. minimum lot size) (outlined on the map in blue). The site is generally located at 2800 South 3330 East. Case No. 2020-ZC-017. A request for a zone change amendment to the Desert Canyons PD-R (Planned Development Residential) zone to develop 'Desert Playa' on approximately 6.14 acres. The applicant is Desert Canyons Development. Inc. and the representative is Curt Gordon. The property is generally located 1800 LF south of Southern Parkway Ft Pierce Crossing (Assessor Parcel No. SG-6745-G-141), Case No. 2020-ZCA-018.
