- NOTICE OF A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A FIBER COMMUNICATIONS SERVICE AND ACQUISITION CONTRACT NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of Clearfield City, Utah (the 'City') adopted a resolution on March 10, 2020 (the 'Resolution') authorizing the execution by the City of a Fiber Communications Service and Acquisition Contract (the 'Service Contract') between the City and the Utah Infrastructure Agency ('UIA'), an interlocal corporation and separate legal entity, body politic and corporate and political subdivision of the State of Utah. The Service Contract provides that UIA will provide and the City will receive certain connection services relating to access to a fiber optic network (the 'Network'). In exchange for the receipt of such services, the City, will use certain fees relating to the Network to make its payments for such services and in the event that those fees are not sufficient to make such payments, the City will apply sales tax revenue and electrical fee revenue. A copy of the Resolution and the Service Contract are on file at the City's offices, at 55 South State Street, Clearfield, Utah, where they may be examined during regular business hours of the City from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, for a period of at least thirty (30) days from and after the date of publication of this notice.
