NOTICE AND AGENDA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gunnison City Council will hold a Public Hearing along with its regularly scheduled Council Meeting on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at the Gunnison City Hall, 38 West Center, Gunnison, UT 84634. This meeting is scheduled to begin at 7:00 pm. 1) Invocation 2) Public Comment 3) 7:00 pm Public Hearing to discuss the project determined to be applied for in the CDBG Small Cities Program in Program Year 2020, Gunnison Valley Softball/Little League Ball Field Restoration Project. 4) Proposed Approval to Pursue CDBG Grant Application for Program Year 2020, Gunnison Valley Softball/Little League Ball Field Restoration Project 5) Oath of Office to New City Treasurer, Steven Jenson 6) Discuss and Proposed Approval of 2021 Tentative Budget, Resolution 2020-3 7) Review and Proposed Approval of Renewal GV Baseball/Softball Park Contract with SSSD ~ Mayor Nay 8) Review City Wide Clean Up Plans - Plan to Encourage Residents to Participate, Report on Beautification for City and on Properties with Complaints ~ Councilmember Hill 9) Discuss Possible Cemetery Regulations for Memorial Weekend Pertaining to Social Distancing ~ Councilmember Hill 10) Update COVID-19 Report - City Response ~ Mayor Nay 11) Discuss Agritourism, Dr. Kimberly Beck 12) Proposed Approval of City Council Meeting Minutes for Wednesday, April 8, 2020 and Wednesday, April 15, 2020 13) Proposed Approval of Bills and Adjustments 14) City Business and Future Items 15) Closed Session 16) Adjourn NOTE: The agenda items may be discussed in any order. *For those wishing to join the meeting electronically, please contact the City Recorder, Janell Braithwaite at (435)528-7969 at least 24 hours in advance to receive the information needed to join. *In compliance with ADA, persons needing auxiliary communicative aids & accommodations for City-sponsored public meetings, services, programs, etc. should call City Offices at (435)528-7969 giving at least 24 hours notice. Consideration of adjourning into a Closed Session pursuant to the Provisions of Section 52-4-205(1) of the Open Meeting Law for the purpose of (a) discussion of the character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual; (c) strategy sessions to discuss pending or reasonably imminent litigation; and (d) strategy sessions to discuss the purchase, exchange, or lease of real property, including any form of a water right or water shares, if public discussion of the transaction would: (i) disclose the appraisal or estimated value of the property under consideration; or (ii) prevent the public body from completing the transaction on the best possible terms.
