NOTICE AND AGENDA Notice is hereby given that the Wales Town Council will hold its regular meeting on Tuesday, 5 May 2020, at the Wales Town Hall, which meeting shall begin promptly at 7:00 PM. Agenda items may or may not be discussed in the order they are listed. A Public Budget Hearing will be held as part of the meeting. The agenda shall be as follows: Roll call Pledge of Allegiance Prayer Petitions & communications: a. Justin Atkinson, concerning progress on well replacement project b. Imre Solyom, concerning needed repairs to front of town hall Business 1. Interview applicants for town council position; vote on and appoint new council member; oath of office 2. Close town council meeting and open Public Budget Hearing to: open & revise 2019-2020 budget discuss preliminary 2020-2021 fiscal year budget 3. Close Public Budget Hearing and re-open Town Council meeting 4. Discuss needed repairs to front of town hall 5. Discuss public safety building project 6. Discuss possible cancellation of Welsh Days due to Covid-19 restrictions Approval of minutes for town council meeting held 7 April 2020 Approval for payment of April 2020 invoices Reports of officers and boards Residents who wish to address the town council on any observations or problems concerning Wales Town will be given five (5) minutes to speak. Additional time will be allowed at the discretion of the Mayor and Town Board. No decision will be made unless said citizen arranges for time on the Agenda at least five (5) days prior to the town council meeting. Town council meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month.
