SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION SALT LAKE CITY COUNCIL NOTICE OF HEARINGS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT ON Tuesday, May 5, 2020 and Tuesday, May 19, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. virtual public hearings will be held by the Salt Lake City Council to accept public comment and consider adopting an ordinance relating to Petition No. PLNPCM2019-00795. A proposed ordinance is before the Council to amend the zoning map pertaining to a parcel of property located at 1172 East Chandler Drive to rezone the parcel from Open Space District (OS) to Foothills Residential District (FR-3/12,000). The intent of the rezone is to match the zoning of the property to the east, which is under the same ownership, to allow residential accessory uses on the property after the two lots are combined. Consideration may be given to rezoning the property to another zoning district with similar characteristics. The Council may consider adopting the ordinance on the same night of the second public hearing. This will be an electronic meeting pursuant to Salt Lake City Emergency Proclamation.
